ARIA Probate

ARIA Probate documentation

ARIA Probate is the specialist workflow for organizing probate-support work: case information, documents, progress, repeat client questions and task coordination. It is designed to support an authorized professional or service team — not to replace legal judgment.

Current implementation boundary: ARIA Probate is now represented in the customer product catalog with entitlement-aware preview/access states. A complete customer operational probate module is still a separate integration task.

Purpose

Probate work often involves repeated information collection, document follow-up, status questions and procedural tracking. ARIA Probate is intended to reduce the administrative burden around those tasks while keeping legally significant decisions with the responsible human professional.

Case organization

A probate-support workspace can organize case identifiers, parties, contact information, milestones, outstanding items, notes and next actions. The exact fields depend on the customer's jurisdiction and professional workflow.

Case data must remain scoped to the customer's organization and subject to the roles/permissions required for sensitive personal information.

Documents

ARIA can help categorize and track documents supplied for the workflow, identify missing items and summarize information for review where the connected system supports it. Source documents should remain available for verification; generated summaries are not a substitute for the original legal record.

Workflow support

Potential workflow assistance includes:

  • Initial information intake.
  • Document checklists and missing-item follow-up.
  • Case-status summaries.
  • Task and milestone tracking.
  • Internal notes and handoff context.
  • Repeat client status questions where the professional has approved the underlying information.

The specific workflow must be configured for the customer's service and jurisdiction rather than assuming one universal probate process.

Client communication

When integrated with ARIA Voice or another approved channel, a probate-support workflow can answer routine status/process questions using approved information and route matters requiring legal advice or professional judgment to a human.

The assistant should clearly avoid presenting generated text as independent legal advice.

Human and legal review

Probate is a legal process. ARIA Probate is positioned as administrative/workflow support. Legal interpretation, filing decisions, advice, representation and other regulated professional actions remain with appropriately qualified humans.

Privacy and sensitive information

Probate records can include identity information, family relationships, financial data, property information and legal documents. Deployments must use appropriate organization isolation, role controls and secure handling. Avoid exposing case content to unrelated products or users simply because they share the same broader ARIA platform.

Customer access

ARIA Probate can appear in the console as Locked, Trial, Active, Setup required or Suspended. An organization should not receive Active operational access until the required case/document workflow for that customer has actually been configured.

Current implementation status

The current customer-console foundation includes the product catalog entry, entitlement status and locked preview. The full operational probate case system is not represented as complete in this phase. Documentation will need to be expanded further when the final customer workflow, jurisdictional boundaries and connected actions are implemented.
